Apple Event Announcements: iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Pro, Apple Watch Series 10, AirPods, More

Apple today at its “Glowtime” event has announced a number of flagship products, including iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, iPhone 16 Pro Max, Apple Watch Series 10, new AirPods and a lot more. Here we briefly take a look at each of these announcements.

We will have more comprehensive details on each of these announcements, along with different comparisons with competing products in separate articles on the site soon.

Apple Watch Series 10

Apple Watch Series 10 powered by new S10 SIP features thinnest design with larger display than ever, even larger than Ultra 2. Display is 40% brighter. The OLED display is more power efficient than ever.

New aluminum color finishes: Jet Black, Warm Rose Gold, Silver. There’s also a new polish titanium finish in rose gold, black and silver.

It’s also the fastest charging Apple Watch ever. Can get up to 80% battery from 0% in just 30 minutes.

New health features includes ability to detect Sleep apnea.

Apple Watch Series 10 starts at $399. Pre-orders starts today, available on September 20.

In addition to this, Apple announced a new color for Apple Watch Ultra 2: Satin Black.

AirPods 4

AirPods 4 bud’s feature same shape as AirPods Pro’s buds. It features H2 chip with massive improvement in audio quality with richer base and crystal clear sound and personalize Spatial Audio.

It also features voice isolation, ability to detect head movements for receiving or rejecting calls.

The case is most smallest and portable case for AirPods ever. Also features wireless charging and ability for FindMy sound speaker built into the case.

They also feature noise-cancelling feature from AirPods Pro in a slightly expensive variant. It also features transparency mode, adaptive audio, conversation awareness and more.

AirPods 4 costs $129.

AirPods 4 with active-voice noise cancellation cost $179.

AirPods Max gets refresh with new colors and USB-C. Costs $549. Pre orders today, available at September 20.

AirPods Pro 2 Gets New Features

AirPods Pro 2 gets new features with software update, adding new health benefits such as hearing protection, hearing awareness, clinically verified hearing test, clinically verified hearing aid.

iPhone 16 / iPhone 16 Plus

The new iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus Apple says is built from ground up for Apple Intelligence. It comes in 2 sizes: 6.1-inch for iPhone 16 and 6.7-inch for iPhone 16 Plus. The display has 2,000 nits brightness. It also features new Action Button, and Camera Control button. New colors: blue, pink, black, white, green.

Features all new chip for Apple Intelligence, dubbed A18 and built on 3nm technology. It features upgraded 16-core neural engine which is 2x faster for machine learning.

iPhone 16 starts at $799 for 128GB model whereas iPhone 16 Plus starts at $899 for 128GB model. Pre orders starts on September 13 and will be available in stores on September 20.

iPhone 16 Pro / iPhone 16 Pro Max

iPhone 16 Pro features 6.3-inch screen whereas iPhone 16 Pro Max features 6.9-inch screen size. It has thinnest border bezel on any Apple product ever.

It features Grade 5 titanium which makes it very robust. Comes in desert titanium, natural titanium, black titanium, and white titanium color finishes.

iPhone 16 Pro Max has best battery life in an iPhone ever.

The Pro iPhones have special chip dubbed A18 Pro SIP, which is even more powerful than A18. Built upon 3nm architecture which gives it amazing performance and power efficiency.

iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max also features new Camera Control button from iPhone 16/16 Plus, letting you take photo or video quickly with a touch of a button.
