Apple is not exactly known for its deals, with the company preferring to sell everything at RRP unless taking part in some sort of promotion such as the annual “back to school” offer, and even then, it normally gives away gift cards rather than reducing the price of devices.
However, right now, it is offering a reduction on the price of W1-powered BeatsX, Solo3, and Powerbeats3 wireless headphones, with discounts of up to $60 available per model. However, while a $60 reduction is nothing to be sniffed at, it is important to remember that better deals can still be had elsewhere, as we have shown below.
Right now, assuming you are willing to get certified refurbished models in the case of BeatsX and Powerbeats3, you can get the same headphones with significant discounts over what Apple is currently selling them for, even taking the company’s current sale into account.
- BeatsX: $120 from Apple and $99 from Amazon
- Powerbeats3: $160 from Apple and $99 from Amazon
- Beats Solo3: $240 from Apple and $219 from Amazon
One caveat to note here is that there are some Neighborhood color offerings that Apple has and other retailers do not, but if you are happy to just buy the headphones in a different colorway, then we would very much suggest checking out what other retailers have to offer rather than buying direct from Apple.
You could buy one of Apple’s $80 dongles with the moneys saved, after all!
