As we enter 2024 there are plenty of things to look forward to in terms of new Apple products. But the end of 2023 does bring about an interesting fact and a new first for Apple.
That first comes in the form of 2023 being the first year in which Apple did not update any of its iPad lineups, with no new tablet coming out of Cupertino throughout the entire year.
That was something that was expected the further through the year we got as rumors and leaks began to suggest that we would have to wait until 2024 for the new tablets to be released. We’re expecting updated iPad Pro and iPad Air tablets relatively soon, while a new base model iPad and an updated iPad mini are also now expected.
With this being the first time that Apple hasn’t brought a new tablet to market since the original one debuted in 2010, it’s expected that 2024 could be a big year for those who prefer Apple’s iPads over any other tablet on the market.
The iPad lineup refresh isn’t the only thing of note for 2024, however. We’re set to see Apple finally release the Vision Pro AR/VR headset within the next few months and that’s sure to be an even bigger deal than any update to an iPad could ever be.
