Apple is reportedly working to release an updated iPhone 14 color, with yellow thought to be on the way back to the lineup.
The last time that we saw a yellow iPhone it was the iPhone 11, while everyone likely also remembers the iPhone XR from 2018. Now Apple is said to be ready to unveil a new yellow iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus.
However, that report comes via a Weibo post shared by Japanese blog MacOtakara, and there are some doubts as to whether it’s legitimate or not. However, MacRumors also reports that it has heard from its own sources that Apple is set to hold some media briefings as soon as next week.
Multiple sources informed MacRumors that Apple’s PR team is planning a product briefing next week. Apple announced the new Green colors for the iPhone 13 series on Tuesday, March 8 last year, so there is a chance the briefing is related to a new iPhone color being announced, but the subject of the briefing has yet to be determined.
The fact that Apple has released new colors in March before suggests that there could be something to this report after all.
However, it isn’t yet known what kind of yellow will be released, or if it will be exclusive to the iPhone 14 lineup. If so, could Apple release a different color for those shopping for an iPhone 14 Pro or iPhone 14 Pro Max?
