Apple Announces New Yellow iPhone 14 And iPhone 14 Plus

Apple has today announced the rumored yellow iPhone, bringing the color to the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus. There is so far no new color for the iPhone 14 Pro or iPhone 14 Pro Max, but that could change in the coming days.

Apple had been rumored to have the new color ready to go and now that it’s here we have the answer to the question we were all asking — would this be a bright, shiny yellow or something more muted?

The answer, it turns out, is somewhere in between. The yellow isn’t a vibrant one like the iPhone XR was, but it’s also not a particularly low-key color either. But beyond the color option, this is the same iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus that is already on sale.

“People love their iPhone and rely on it every day for all that they do, and now there’s an exciting addition to the lineup with a new yellow iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus,” said Bob Borchers, Apple’s vice president of Worldwide Product Marketing. “The extraordinary battery life, lightweight design, pro-level camera and video features, groundbreaking safety capabilities like Emergency SOS via satellite, and all iOS 16 has to offer make iPhone 14 a great option for anyone in the market for a new iPhone.”

The new iPhone comes with the same 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch display depending on which model you choose, while the A16 Bionic is still the chip being used.

This is identical to the existing iPhones in every way, bar the color. With that in mind, it’s extremely unusual that we will see many people choosing to upgrade form an existing model. However, those who haven’t yet picked up an iPhone 14 or iPhone 14 Plus now have a new color to choose from.
