Apple has announced a number of new additions to its catalog of Immersive Video options for Apple Vision Pro owners beginning right now, with new series, concerts, and more being added to the mix.
Immersive Video content really makes the Apple Vision Pro shine and Apple announced the addition of new content in a press release that noted the fidelity of such media.
Starting this week, Apple is releasing all-new series and films captured in Apple Immersive Video that will debut exclusively on Apple Vision Pro. Apple Immersive Video is a remarkable storytelling format that leverages 3D video recorded in 8K with a 180-degree field of view and Spatial Audio to transport viewers to the center of the action.
Boundless is a new series that will see viewers experience trips from wherever they are, starting with the “Hot Air Balloons” episode that will be followed by “Wildlife”, a “nature documentary series that brings viewers up close to some of the most charismatic creatures on the planet.”
More content will be made available later this year including special performances from some of the world’s biggest artists including The Weekend.
There will also be a behind-the-scenes and on-the-court view of the 2024 NBA All-Star Weekend while “Big-Wave Surfing” will be the first installment of a new sports series from Red Bull.
