The M4 MacBook Pro refresh is something that has been heavily rumored for months now, but we’ve yet to see confirmation from Apple that such a thing is in the cards.
A recent report by Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman suggested a launch at the end of October, but someone already got their hands on the computer weeks ahead of time.
We’ve seen a few different videos pop up online of late, while the latest comes via a YouTube short from Russian channel Romancev768. The video shows a 14-inch MacBook Pro with an M4 chip sporting a 10-core CPU and 10-core GPU, assuming it’s to be believed of course. The rest of the specs include 16GB of RAM, 512GB of storage, a trio of Thunderbolt 4 ports and a Space Black colorway.
The About This Mac software shows that this machine is an unreleased November 2024 MacBook Pro which would of course match what we have already been told to expect by Mark Gurman.
Alongside the 14-inch MacBook Pro it’s also expected that Apple will announce a new 16-inch version, a new Mac mini, and an iMac although it’s as-yet unclear which of those will be unveiled at the rumored October 27 event. However, it now looks increasingly likely that we can expect that the portable Macs are pretty much nailed on at this point.
