If you’re in the market for a new electric scooter there is a new company to consider after drone maker DJI announced that it is launching an electric bike under the Amflow brand.
Dubbed the Amflow PL, the new bike is a new electric mountain bike that features a number of features including a 2-inch OLED touchscreen as well as remote controls and more.
The bike features a 600Wh battery and weighs just 19.2kg with the battery itself accounting for 2.9lb of that. Alternatively, buyers can choose to buy an 800Wh battery while a 500W fast charger is also an option for those who want to be able to charge their electric bike to 75% in just 1.5 hours.
Riders can connect their phone to the bike and use the Avinox app to access a range of different smart features covering data recording and sharing as well as the usual bike security features that we have come to expect.
Ride modes include an Auto Mode feature that adapts the ride based on things like real-time surface conditions and the rider’s position.
Unfortunately, we don’t yet have all of the details that we’d like including how much the electric bike will cost and when we will be able to actually buy it.
Hopefully, we will see more information coming from DJI sooner rather than later.
