If you’re the owner of an Apple Vision Pro and happen to be a fan of the Environments that can be used to create virtual worlds while using the headset, you have a new one to try out.
Apple has started to roll out the Lake Vrangla Environment to Apple Vision Pro headsets around the world via an over-the-air update that is downloaded by the headset when connected to the internet.
The new Environment takes users to Norway and is compatible with both visionOS 1 and the latest visionOS 2 developer beta. Those who want to download the new Environment will find it in the Environments tab within the Home View.
The new Environment joins the existing options including the Bora Bora environment that will be released to the public as part of the visionOS 2 update later this year. The new environment can be used in both light and dark mode.
The Apple Vision Pro is now on sale in multiple countries after breaking free of the United States’ borders within the last few weeks. The headset is getting ready for its first big software update this fall, with Apple also readying new updates for the iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, Mac, and Apple TV.
Apple is reportedly already working on a new, cheaper version of the Apple Vision Pro for people who have been put off by its $3,499 starting price.
