There has been no shortage of technology companies pushing out advertising and overview videos in the last few days. Obviously, not wanting to lag behind or be left out of the action, Samsung has followed suit with their own Galaxy Note II promotional video. The video doesn’t just remind us that the Note II is imminently available on a number different networks, but it also serves to show us that the second-generation note actually ships with some fairly decent features.
The Galaxy Note II has lost a little bit of public momentum recently thanks to a range of other devices hitting the headlines, but it is worth recapping and remembering that the extremely large and physically imposing smartphone will be landing on U.S.-based networks starting today. T-Mobile will be offering the device immediately, with Sprint getting in on the action tomorrow and AT&T following suit early November.
The Samsung-produced video wants to get across the fact that the Galaxy Note II can be thought of as a phone and a tablet, as it provides the best of both worlds. The Korean electronics giant make an extremely compelling case as to why consumers should want to get their hands on this new device with some of the features immediately jumping out at us. The 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display on the device is perfect display for watching and enjoying movies, but the addition of powerful multitasking features that allow texts and emails to be sent while still watching the movie should prove to be very popular.
There seems to be quite a lot of imagining going on through the length of the video, with Samsung inviting us to imagine that we can manage our memories and moments more effectively with the Galaxy Note II. The effectiveness of Near Field Communications (NFC) technology is also showcased within the video using the S Beam functionality as well as brief but notable appearance of the controversial S Pen that ships with the Galaxy Note II.
We no longer need to imagine that we can have all of these features as the next big thing is here in the form of the Samsung Galaxy Note II. Check out the video for yourself and see if Samsung’s attempt at imagination provoking advertisement is enough to make you purchase a Note II.
