Remember the Multifl0w app for iPhone which we posted about last month? Well a new multitasking app by the name of ProSwitcher has now been released, which outclasses multifl0w in each and every way possible. ProSwitcher is an iPhone app which allows switching between applications running in background in a beautiful Palm Pre style cover flow-like mode. It basically act as a graphical extension to the already popular app from Cydia called Backgrounder to present all opened apps in a tabbed view, similar to the view seen on Mobile Safari browser.
The interface, as you can see from the screenshot above is very polished. Lots of work has gone into designing the interface to match the look and feel of multitasking on Palm Pre. From the little close button in the top left corner, to the app icon and label and the dots on the bottom, everything looks very refined and finely tuned. Best of all, you can close an app by vertically swiping the app just like how it is done on Palm Pre.
Settings page has tons of options to customize the app to your needs. From customizing the close button to rounded edges to transparent backgrounds, its all there for you to explore.
The beta version of this app has been released, and it is now available as a free download via Cydia from http://booleanmagic.com/repo repository. Go ahead and try it out on your iPhone and iPod touch. You sure wont be disappointed.
