One of the video gaming industry’s biggest franchises is certainly set to make an impact on Android owners with its crisp, sharp graphics and adrenaline-filled swinging action.
So what can we expect from a game that bares the name of the world’s most famous golfer and brings all of the PGA Tour action directly to our handheld devices? First and foremost, this latest release from EA brings all of the smooth gameplay that we have come to expect from a Tiger Woods golf game, regardless of the platform it is on. The graphics and visuals are also stunning with the golfers themselves, and the world famous courses being rendered beautifully.
I am pretty sure that we have all imagined being in Tiger Woods’ golf shoes over the years as we have watched him rise to the very top of his profession, only to then fall slightly from grace thanks to various misdemeanors. Putting aside those incidents, the PGA Tour 2012 game allows players to compete against the best golfers in the world and move their way up through the rankings on the tour. The game also allows us to play as, or alongside some of the sports biggest names in Anthony Kim, Paula Creamer, Natalie Gulbis, Paul Casey, Jim Furyk, Zach Johnson, Camilo Villegas and even Mr. Woods himself.
No Tiger Woods game would be complete with the inclusion of official tour courses such as Pebble Beach, St. Andrews, TPC Sawgrass and TPC Boston, as well bringing four different game modes including the ability to play head to head against a friend over Wi-Fi or Bluetooth.
