Apple has just released for download iOS 18.1.1 IPSW links and OTA update for compatible iPhone devices, including the latest iPhone 16 series.
This release comes about three weeks after the company released iOS 18.1 final version which brought with it first-wave of Apple Intelligence features.
iOS 18.1 included features like Writing Tools, Photos app memory maker, Photos app Clean Up tool, new Siri animation, notifications summaries, and more.
Today’s iOS 18.1.1 release is mainly a bug fix seed which according to Apple’s release notes provides security fixes. Here’s the official changelog of iOS 18.1.1 from Apple:
iOS 18.1.1 update provides important security fixes. It is recommended for all users.
To update to iOS 18.1.1 via OTA update, head over to Settings > General > Software Update section of the device and grab the update from there. Alternatively, you can get iOS 18.1.1 via IPSW links from below and update your device using iTunes on Windows, or Finder on Mac.
