You’ll Soon Be Able To Buy Apple TV+ Through Amazon Prime Video

If you’re someone who likes to keep all of their subscriptions under one roof, we have good news for you.

Amazon and Apple have announced a deal that will bring Apple TV+ under the Amazon Prime channels system, making it easier for people to sign up for and watch their favorite content.

The move means that people will be able to sign up for and then pay for Apple TV+ via Amazon for the first time, with Apple’s services chief Eddy Cue confirming the news via a joint press release with Amazon.

“We want to make Apple TV+ and its award-winning library of series and films from the world’s greatest storytellers available to as many viewers as possible,” said Eddy Cue, Apple’s SVP of Services. “We’re thrilled that Prime Video will now offer Apple TV+, giving viewers an incredible breadth of viewing options.”

For people who already pay for Apple TV+ elsewhere, there is little reason to switch from their current setup, but for Amazon customers who want to avoid adding another subscription payment to the mix, it could be a real opportunity for the streamer to grow.

Price-wise, nothing will change. Subscribing to Apple TV+ via Amazon Prime Video will cost the same as going direct to Apple at $9.99 per month.
