Tesla’s much-delayed Cybertruck electric truck is getting closer than ever to entering mass production and now a new leak appears to have shown what the frunk will look like for the first time.
While we already knew that there would be a frunk, as the norm with EVs, we hadn’t seen any preview of what it would actually look like or how big it would be inside.
Now, a leaked video from inside the Tesla Gigafactory Texas facility appears to have confirmed what buyers can expect — and they can expect a very small frunk.
Putting a frunk in an electric truck gives owners a lockable place to store items while also keeping them dry, something that isn’t always possible when a bed is offered. However, those hoping to store anything particularly large in the frunk of their Cybertruck looks set to be disappointed thanks to the extremely small one they’re going to get.
Still, it’s better than nothing and it will at least be a good place to store certain things — including a charger of course.

As for the truck itself, it’s expected to finally start deliveries by the end of next month but that’s likely to be to very specific customers. The company still hasn’t actually shared details on specifications or pricing for the truck, so we can presumably expect that sooner rather than later.
