Apple’s iPhone 15 Pro models are set to introduce a novel dark blue color variant. This unique shade, which carries a gray undertone, has been confirmed by a credible source via Twitter, who has a track record of providing accurate insights into Apple’s future offerings.
This distinct blue hue will be featured on a fresh titanium material, presenting a brushed finish that departs from Apple’s conventional stainless steel.
The color bears some similarity to the blue used for the iPhone 12 Pro models, but it’s expected to be deeper and grayer to harmonize with the titanium material. It sounds as though it will provide an extremely professional and elegant-looking finish.
The new blue color is projected to be part of a color range that includes silver, space gray/space black, and titanium gray. The titanium gray is a lighter variant of silver-gray compared to the space gray/space black.
Interestingly, while we are seeing information about this new color, we aren’t hearing anything about the speculated new deep red color that has previously been talked about.
It’s important to keep in mind that Apple might be using the blue color to test the Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) coating on the new titanium material, which is why it may have been seen on a prototype device but could be a different color when it comes to the production run.
Just one detail – while we do know for a fact that this color exists, it’s always possible that it’s a test configuration, something to test the durability of the PVD coating on the new titanium material. I can’t guarantee they’ll actually end up using it. https://t.co/nNytl4kH19

We don’t know exactly what the iPhone 15 Pro models will offer in terms of physical design but rumor has it that the hardware will bear a close resemblance to the iPhone 14 Pro models. Albeit with a few minor design modifications. Those changes will likely include a multi-functional mute button that will replace the existing mute button and even slimmer bezels. Apple is also expected to move away from the Lighting port by introducing USB-C on the device.
The camera lens layout on the iPhone 15 Pro Max will be updated to accommodate the exclusive periscope lens. With the new less glossy titanium frame finish, the iPhone 15 Pro models will be distinctively different from the iPhone 14 Pro models.
