The Apple Music beta website is back for the first time after it was removed from service in April of last year. The new version has a new feature and an overall fresher look, too.
In terms of features, the new Apple Music beta website now has the same Listen Now tab as other Music apps across iOS 14 and macOS 11 Big Sur. It replaced the For You tab and claims to offer music and playlists that Apple thinks you’ll like, all based on your previous listening habits.
The Apple Music beta website has also had a new lick of paint. The whole thing looks and feels like the Music apps we’re seeing in the current round of iOS 14 and macOS 11 Big Sur betas, for example.
Apple seems to be making sure that it has everything lined up and ready to go for the main Apple Music website come next month – when we expect it to release iOS 14 and macOS 11 Big Sur to the public.
The new beta version of the website is available to all Apple Music subscribers via the beta.music.apple.com website. Once signed in using your Apple ID, you’ll be presented with all of your music, playlists, and whatnot. All in a surprisingly responsive website.
We’d expect Apple to continue to tweak the experience ahead of its main September launch, too.
