In a surprise move, Apple has just made available to download iOS 10.3.2 beta 1, watchOS 3.2.2 beta 1, tvOS 10.2.1 beta 1, macOS 10.12.5 beta 1 for iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, Apple TV and Mac devices.
These beta releases follow only a day after the company shipped final versions of iOS 10.3, watchOS 3.2, tvOS 10.2 and macOS 10.12.4 to general public.
It’s currently unknown as to what new features all of these new releases contain, but given that these come right after mid-cycle refreshes like iOS 10.3, watchOS 3.2, macOS 10.12.4 and tvOS 10.2, it’s very likely that today’s iOS 10.3.2, watchOS 3.2.2, macOS 10.12.5 and tvOS 10.2.1 are all very minor releases with bug fixes and under-the-hood performance improvements being order of the day.
In order to update to the latest aforementioned updates, if you are running a beta of iOS on your iPhone or iPad and have beta configuration profile installed, simply head over to Settings > General > Software Update section of the device to grab the OTA update. This same procedure applied to Apple Watch, Mac, Apple TV as well where you need to get into settings section and grab the latest OTA update.
If, however, you are new to installing betas such as today’s iOS 10.3.2, macOS 10.12.5, watchOS 3.2.2 and tvOS 10.2.1, you will need to first head over to developer.apple.com to get started.
Both iOS 10.3.2 beta 1 and macOS 10.12.5 beta 1 are currently available only to those registered on the Apple Developer Program portal but it’s only a matter of time before they are made available to public testers of Apple Beta Software Program as well. We will let you know whenever that happens. Stay tuned for more.
