Pokemon Go Thanksgiving event update has been announced by Niantic, here is everything that you need to know about it.
Pokémon Go launched just a few months ago, the month of July to be exact, and the folks behind the hugely popular and indeed viral game, Niantic, has taken to the company’s website today in order to thank gamers for making the title such a big deal during 2016.
In order to thank gamers for taking Pokémon Go to their hearts and giving it the platform required in order to become the resounding success that it has been, at least during the early months of its availability, Nantic has announced some perks for gamers to take advantage of.
Hurry though, the window of opportunity is upon us – gamers will only have between November 23rd at 00:00 UTC and going through November 30th 00:00 UTC in order to take advantage of Nantic’s generosity. What will that generosity reap, you cry? Well, we’ll let Niantic explain.
If double XP and Stardust sounds like something you’d like, then be sure to get your Pokémon Go on after Wednesday and remember, you only have a few days in which to accept your thank you.
Now we just need Nantic to get back to working on Pokémon Go’s second coming. After all, we know around 100 Generation 2 Pokémon are on their way sooner or alter. Hopefully the former.
Also, for those who don’t already know, Niantic dropped new version of Pokemon Go, version 1.17.0 for iOS and 0.47.1 for Android to be exact, over the weekend. You can grab the update right now from the App Store and Play Store respectively and learn more about some of the new features in the update in our post here.
