Want iPhone 7 Plus exclusive Portrait mode feature on iPhone 7 or older unsupported devices? Here’s how you can!
Do you own an iPhone 5s or newer? If you’re an iPhone owner, then chances are the answer to that question is a “yes” and if that is accurate, then we have some very good news for you indeed; you may not need a fancy, shiny new iPhone 7 Plus in order to get the impressive depth of field bokeh effect that the new phone’s dual-lens camera system is capable of.
Of course, the iPhone 7 Plus running iOS 10.1 uses its newfangled cameras in order to create that wonderful bokeh effect that folks with high-end cameras take for granted, but not everyone likes what Apple’s Portrait mode can produce. Furthermore, this is a feature that is still in beta, meaning it isn’t yet ready to be used by everyone. There’s a gap in the market for a good way of adding bokeh to a photo without having to buy a brand new dual-lens capable smartphone first.
