Get This Cool Apple Watch Screen Saver For Your Mac

A number of people are still not behind the concept of smartwatches. Some, on the other hand, love them. No matter which side you belong to, it’s hard to argue that the default watch face on the Apple Watch is elegant and beautiful. Just looking at it speaks class, and if you’re really into it, you can get the same watch face on your Mac as well as a screen saver.

This Apple Watch screen saver for Mac OS X comes from an independent developer and designer named Rasmus Nielsen and it follows a straightforward process for installing on any Mac. However, the standard disclaimer with using any such third-party software applies, that is, use at your own risk.

Installing Apple Watch Screen Saver on Mac OS X:

Step 1: Download the Apple Watch screen saver for OS X from rasmusnielsen.dk here.

Step 2: Right-click the downloaded file and select “Open” to install it after going through the security prompt.

Step 3: After the installation is complete, you will automatically be taken into System Preferences -> Desktop & Screen Saver settings panel on OS X from where you can select the Apple Watch screen saver from the list of available choices.

Step 4 (optional): You can also set up a password along with the screen saver for added protection, should you feel like it.

It’s worth noting that while this Apple Watch screen saver is fairly easy to set up and use, there might be certain caveats that you’ll find a hindrance. For instance, the screen saver has been reported to have issues running on older versions of OS X, but that is hardly a surprise, since the code has changed significantly in the later versions of the operating system.
