One of the most annoying bug of initial release of Redsn0w 0.9.7 was the native app crashes which made using the Task Switcher, iPod and YouTube apps unusable after the untethered jailbreak. Well with the latest release of Redsn0w 0.9.7b2, all these problems have been fixes. Bluetooth functionality though is still disabled.
This version should fix all the native app crashes (including Task switcher). That’s the only change in from beta1….Bluetooth is still disabled.
The jailbreak procedure is exactly the same. Follow our complete step by step guide posted here to make your iOS 4.2.1 jailbreak untethered on iPhone 4, iPad and iPod touch 4G. Support for other devices, and a Windows version of Redsn0w 0.9.7 will be released soon.
