iH8sn0w’s Sn0wbreeze 1.6 is almost ready for primetime use. He will release it in a day or two. For those of you who don’t know, Sn0wbreeze 1.6 is by the same developer who is behind other popular iPhone jailbreak tools such as sn0wbreeze for iPhone 3.1.3, f0recast and BlackBreeze.
Snowbreeze 1.6, like PwnageTool will enable you to create custom firmware files on Windows without upgrading the baseband. It will support the following devices (the same as PwnageTool 4.0).
- iPhone 3G/3GS (old bootrom/already jailbroken–NOT INCLUDING Spirit)
- iPod Touch 2G
