Here are 250+ new iOS 18 features to try today on your compatible iPhone or iPad device.
Apple’s iOS 18 software update is finally here and that means that people around the world are getting ready to install it on their own iPhones. The update includes plenty of new features, and Apple is keen to make sure that people are aware of what they should be trying out. So keen that it’s shared a PDF of more than 250 different improvements and features that should be tried.
The handy PDF list includes all of the tweaks that iPhone users will be able top enjoy after installing iOS 18 on their devices, and while some of them are smaller than others, there’s a lot to take in here.
It’s also notable that some of the features Apple detailed aren’t actually available yet — Apple Intelligence is a great example that won’t be available until iOS 18.1 is released to the public in October.
The full PDF is well worth checking out if you are looking to try the improvements out, but note that not all of them will be available to everyone. Some features are limited to specific devices, with Apple Intelligence again one prime example of that.
The Apple Intelligence features will only be available to iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max owners as well as those who buy an iPhone 16 or iPhone 16 Pro series device starting September 20 — and even then, as mentioned, they’ll have to wait until iOS 18.1 ships as well.
