Finally! The wait is over. The first iOS 8.4 jailbreak tool for Mac OS X is out. It’s called PP jailbreak and it comes from the Chinese team 25PP.
PP jailbreak supports all iPhone, iPad and iPod touch devices running iOS 8.4 all the way back to iOS 8.1.3.
25PP also released a Windows version of the PP jailbreak tool for iOS 8.3 and iOS 8.4, both times for which they were accused by another Chinese team TaiG of using their code without permission.
Supported devices:
iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 6, iPhone 5s, iPhone 5c, iPhone 5, iPhone 4s, iPad Air 2/1, iPad mini 3/2/1, iPad 4/3/2 and iPod touch 5.
Supported firmware versions:
iOS 8.4, iOS 8.3, iOS 8.2 and iOS 8.1.3.
You can download the English version of PP jailbreak for Mac OS X from here [Fast Mirror]. It comes with Cydia 1.1.20 pre-installed, which you can always update to latest version from inside Cydia.
PP jailbreak requires a Mac running at least OS X version 10.7 or above to work.
We’ll have a step by step tutorial on it soon. Stay tuned.
