This very well-designed calculator helps with those often awkward moments in restaurants when trying to work out a tip for your waiter. If you’re not too great with figures and require an efficient, reliable way of working out the tip, this app does the job nicely.

Vinyl Tap ($0.99 – FREE / iPad)
Vinyl Tap is a turntable simulation app, and a good one at that. Even though we have mp3s and iPods these days, there was once a time when the turntable was simply it, and with Vinyl Tap, you can relive those glory years.

Skill Game ($2.99 – FREE / iPhone and iPad)
As the name suggests, this game requires a great amount of skill and a very steady hand. A twist on the traditional Connect the Dots game (or Dot-to-Dot, as some may know it), it’s very unforgiving, but with a bunch of great levels, will keep you entertained for hours.

This space-themed puzzler is quite tricky to start off with, but once you get the hang of it, is very enjoyable.
